road king deflector????

Default road king deflector????

There is a deflector under the nacelle fork area that apparetnly foils air downwards. The shop manual says may be removed to give rider more air flow over his legs in warm conditions. Does removing the wind deflector give any more cooling air to the engine or effect engine temperature, thanks JL

if so, marginally.

this was a stock item on evos, it is now an added option.

some of use find smoother air with it in place, it helps control air coming up in front on the tank, which if raining, puts the spray in your face

I took the one off my evo before i sold it and bolted it onto the twin cam, did that with many of the bolt ons that would swap over
