Default SG up in the air on J&S Jack. HELP!

My bike is stuck up in the air on my J&S Jack. The bottle won't jack up so I can release the safety bars. It's over 60 degrees today and will be warmer tomorrow and I want to ride. Called J&S about 2pm and left a message. Almost 3 hours later and no call back.

Don

Keep messing with it. My sears did that, starting playing with the hydraulic adjusters and it allowed it to jack up to clear the safety rail.
It probably screw up the jack but it allowed it to work.

Believe me I know how you feel.

Did you close the valve and then pump it? Sometimes its something simple.

You could always grab another jack and use that to get the bar up enough to clear the safety.

Most cars have a scissor jack somewhere around the spare tire if you don't have any others.

Hydraulic fluid? Makes sense. Where do I put it?

Try this..

If you can, try bleeding the jack. You may have air in it.

Perfect. Thanks much. Too late today, but first thing in the morning I'll check the fluid and or bleed it as necessary.

Quick question...do you release the pressure on the bottle after lifting it up?
