Default 2 or 4 channel

Wanting to get one of the new Rockford Fosgate amps...Don't know if i should get the 2 or 4 channel version....Right now I will only be running 2 speakers on my streetglide, but in the future I may decide to put 2 more either on my detachable tourpack or on the crashbars...anybody get any insight for me??? if i get the 300x4, will that be enough power for just 2 speakers or am i cheating myself by not getting the 2 channel....

2 channel if you only use speakers from front (ie in the fairing and in the lowers)

If you go with rears and front then you need 4 channel

What more do you need to know? If you plan to run speakers in the rear from it then get the 4ch and be future proof. You would lose about 25 watts in a 2 speaker setup at 4ohm

Also the 4ch is 4-ohm ONLY where as the 2ch is 2 or 4 ohm. You COULD run 4 speakers off the 2-ch but you wouldn't have a fade which could be a bad thing for the rear speakers. Not so much of a deal if they are are 4 up front.
