Default aeroshield

I think I bought the 7" Aeroshield recurve. It has that little flip at the top. It eliminated the buffeting you described and I suffered from. Somewhere I read to sit on your bike and look at an object in the driveway 50 feet ahead. Have a buddy hold a piece of cardboard on the fairing and move it up until it just about blocks your view of the item at 50 feet away. Measure your cardboard and that the size of shield to get. This allows you to see over the windshield (rather than through it) while riding yet get the full benefit of the correct height shield. Anyway, I did this and it worked as described.

Also about 5'9" here and on a 2006 FLHX with a C&C solo seat (it's pretty low). I swapped the short, dark screen (? 6" can't remember) which is very very sexy, but not good for seeing anything other than a blur while riding your bike, for an dark Wind Splitter.

Solved the problem straight away. Whole new experience on the Street Glide.

Picked up the screen cheap on ebay and the C&C seat was great value anyway.

Good luck
