The stock windshield is for the showroom floor. I replaced mine with a 6.5" Clearview recurve. The recurve adds the equivalent of another inch for wind protection.

6'2 with windsplitter. However, I have the brawler seat which puts me back and down as far as you can go. At 80mph on the interstate you need a good pair of glasses. Everything below that is a non-issue. All depends on where the top of the shield lines up with your face. The KW sent all the wind at my ears.

I have the clock Werks 6.5 should be good for your height. I am 5"11 and have 6.5 and get some wind but my glasses stay put. The dark tint looks good on the black bikes.

6' here and the 6.5" KW did the ticket for me. Long rides I use glasses that have a strap. Around town, normal sunglasses work fine. The 4" windshield made the wind hit me right at the bridge of my nose.

I had much better luck with the Long Ride Shields 7" ultra. I'm 5-8

I'm 6'1" and have the KW 6.5" with a C&C seat. Love the way it looks and still performs well.

Not sure if the 6.5" would be high enough if I was running the stock seat though.

5'9" here. Test rode my soon to be 2012sg with only the fork baffle installed, no other mods. It stopped the glasses bounce. I will be testing a LRS flat top shield when I pick up the bike next Saturday. Most of my riding is 2up so I'm hoping this makes the back seat a-ok

I'm short, 5'6", so I'm not sure how much help it is but I have the 6.5 Klockworks and love it. Highway with the stocker damn near rattled my head off.

I'm 5'9" and still have my stock SG shield. I wear goggles, and turn my ball cap around backwards. The goggles don't bounce around, and the strap keeps my hat in place.

I like the goggles, because I can look over my shoulder when changing lanes (I ride the super slabs a lot) and I don't worry about them flying off when I'm looking behind me...

Now when I'm wearing a 1/2 helmet.... It shakes my head like crazy. Makes me want to stab people...
