Default Best way to power a hidden antenna??

I just bought a dakota digital hidden antenna, and I am wondering what the best spot to hook up the power wire would be??

attached to the headlight wire loom is an extra wire with a terminal on it. This is used for the euro-spec 'position light'.

It comes on with the ign./lights

or you can tap into any hot wire you like with a 3M tap

they make a few versions:

canadian tire should have them

Tap into your cigarette lighter. It's switched and fused.

Yep I agree with above. Tap it right into your lighter, that's what most Harley shops do

I did mine the way mkguitar suggested. The wires are right there with female
disconnects on them. All you need are two male spade connectors. Easy and no splicing.

So how does the hidden antenna work? Better than the shortly that Harley sells?

My radio had a power antenna wire. I used it to power my hidden antenna.

If the stock HK radio has a power antenna lead that's what should be used. On most head units its a blue wire.
