I need to remove the clear headlight guard to clean inside it, how does this damn thing come off!?

 

should just pop off. Small screw driver may help. stick it in on bottom side and pry it off.

 

It just snaps into place. It's kinda scary the first time you take it off because you feel as if it's going to break, but it doesn't. Use something that won't mar the surface and just pry.

 

Look for the 4 tabs. Use a butter knife with tape on it to protect the paint to unhook the tabs.

 

I used a plastic putty knive.

I've never taken it off without removing the outer fairing. Used a flat blade screwdriver and covered the end with elec tape and pushed the tabs out. I guess others have done it from the outside.

 

ty for the info, butter knife and some tape for the end of it, she popped right off...top then bottom...Damn thing probably never been off...My headlights are way brighter,thats how dirty it was!!
