Default TCB Braking System Installed and Tested

Ok folks, I installed the TCB braking system on my 2001 EGC this a.m. Took me 32 minutes to install all three and bleed the brakes. I took it out on a test run and the system has no spongy feeling at all. I was thinking that the air trapped in the TCB system would make breaking spongy, but that is not the case. I can still lock up the bake wheel but it take a tad more pressure and that's on dry pavement. Using front and rear on a panic brake it seems to stop much more quickly without the dreaded lock up. More time in the saddle will tell but my first impressions are good.

Does the TCB system just replace the banjo bolt on the calipers? Are they noticeable after the install? Keep us posted!

Thank you FL I just started looking for an improved brake system and I believe you found it for me.

These can be checked out here: http://www.tcbbrakesystems.com/

I liked them do much I sold them! Actually I upgraded to Brembo and sold the front ones but I still have the rear ones. To be honest, I can't tell the difference.

I installed them on my Road King on all 3 calipers and they don't make a damn bit of a difference, hit the rear brake @ 55 and the rear locked up and started to slide out, I got lucky and let up fast enough to avoid going down. I'm very disappointed!!

Recently I changed over to Michelin Commander II tires wanting to get longer tread life. These are a a harder tire than my Donlops and right away I discovered they would lock up and skid much easier. I read about these and ordered two, one for each brake. But Decided ot only installe the rear since the front has a good feel and not prone to locking up. Anyway the feel of hard and panic braking is greatly improved for me, much less likely to lock up. I'm happy with it in place. Maybe works better with my lighter weight.
