Local guy has a busa with a LARGE turbo on it that he runs the standing mile with it
I think he told me 450hp to the tire, I really wasn't listening.
But he did go 247 or 249mph, he goes by the name Turbo King on the busa boards

 

I had a tricked out VRod Night Rod special. Looked like a custom Pro Street machine. Although no Busa slayer material, I have to say that many of the sport bike riders seemed less apt to try to run it. I figured that they wouldn't want to explain to there buds how they got beat by a Harley. Don't know if that was the case... Whatever, it was fun though.

 

We all know you were joking. It is still fun though. It's like when you were a kid and you tried to chase down a car to see if you could catch it. You knew it wasn't gonna happen, but it was a hell of a lot of fun trying.

This thread made me laugh out loud...when I started reading it I thought, "did this guy really beat a 'Busa?" Then I caught on and laughed. Comparing a 'Busa to a **** sneaker, dicky? . . . now that's just friggin' funny!

 

Did you at least smoke the tire? I still have my zx-10, still do track days. I know how some of the guys on here feel, but there is nothing like thrashing a sport bike.
