Maybe this has already been asked,but is anyone running Avon Cobra tires on a Street Glide or other Harley touring model? It is almost time for new rubber on my '11 Street Glide and I was trying to save a little money,plus I really like the look of the Avon's over the stock HD Dunlop tires.Any reason NOT to use the Avon's? Wear? Grip? etc.. Any info helpful.Thanks.

 

I had them on my Yamaha Roadliner, excellent tires. I will put them on my Road King when I need tires.

 

My brother works at an indie and they swear by them. I'll try a set when I need em.

 

I got them and I like them. really good traction. but pretty soft not sure how long they will last but they do look badass

I've been riding Harleys for over thirty years and always go back to Avons. I don't have a recent bike that Cobras will fit, but you should find you get a smoother more comfortable ride, with better grip in all weathers as well as better handling. Check Avon's website for the correct pressures, as Avons often use higher pressures than stock tyres.

 

Great tire got on my streetglide on like em, pricey but worth it I my opinion.
