I just found this post thru a search. I am in the process of installing 3 kits on 3 bikes, Road glide, than I will do a SG than a XR Sporty. I bought the 5k 35/55 hi/lo sets, they sent the harness for a car which has about a 6" long harness between the headlights, even the single kits have the same harness. I have a couple of questions for you guys that did the installs.
1 You think I could velcro the ballasts on the inside of the inner fairing? Not sure if they get hot enough to drop off the mounts.
2 Where did you mount the grounds to the frame bracket on the FL's?
3 Do you need to run the positive back to the battery? or would a positive wire in the fairing adequate to be a supply?
Thanks

Anyone here install them in a Roadglide? Im having fitment issues with the back of the bulb, its 3/4" longer than oem and is hitting the fairing bracket on the right side. I have the Hellsfoundry light bezel but it looks like in order to make the lights fit I have to turn the adjuster out so the back will clear and put the funky stock lens cover on.
What a PITFA!

I really don't know. I have read that some members here have said they have installed the kit on the dual bulb lights but, never said anything else about the install.....anyone know forsure? maybe a wireing diagram or a part # for a needed adapter? anyone with pics maybe ? does the bulb plug into the stock H11 plug after????? DDM was clueless all they told me was not to use the 55W kit ! (too hot for bikes? ) thanks to all in advance !
