I just finished installing a set of SE204 cams I purchased from a forum member (Thanks Boogaloodude) for a great price. Installed a PV map supplied from Fuel Moto for my setup and took it out for 150 mile ride today to check it out. Bike runs surprisingly well for a canned map. So far I am happy with these cams. I will be taking it out tomorrow to do a couple tuning runs with the PowerVision to set the VE tables cuz there is a slight hesitation off idle which I am sure can be worked out.
The install went very well. Went through the top so it took a little longer but I wasn't in a big hurry any way. I will most likely take it in for a dyno but I'm surprised at how well it runs now. No backfiring or pinging. Bike runs smooth and accelerates well. Glad I put in the 204's.
I've had the 204's for quite some time and I'm very happy with the power characteristics. When I go up in displacement and have some headwork done, I may go with one of the new Woods cams to optimize performance with that setup but for a stock head 96 the 204's are tough to beat.
