I believe you only get what the bike is worth. Some people may not like all skulls and such and it could hurt your chances of selling it. I have in the past gave away manuals and even a craftsman motorcycle jack after the sale.

 

Take what you can take off easily and just eat the rest..use what's left as selling points. More times than not extras will help to make a sale than to break it.

An 09 should be fairly easy to sell, but just bear in mind that whenever you're trying to sell it, it will take a lot longer. Also depending on where you live, it is not really quite bike season yet.

If you are wanting a new bike, you may be better off trading it..depending on where you want to biz..
Hard to believe that an 09 is only worth $11K in trade already..?
What would the dealer sell it for, $14+?
