Help! Outer primary cover

I would use caution on prying aging the sealing surface.. or sticking a blade inbetween both halves.. it may gouge the surface if it leaves a deep enough scratch it may leak of you may have to use sealer to fill the void..

Yeayaa!! Got the cover off. Compensator installed. Made a wedge at work out of some stainless. Ground the end to a knife edge. Carefully worked it in from the top middle. Can't believe it worked. Thank you to all who helped. Much appreciated!

I vote for one of those GPS or phone mounts for your windshield. Lock that suction cup on an yank away!

Before reassembling, make sure the comp bolt is torqued and the tensioner is adjusted up correctly with little to no slack in the chain.

Then make double sure the primary housing is very clean and free from any particles that might prevent a good primary cover seal.

Add fluid, button it up, and then ride!
