They look good, but like some of the other posters, I ride my bike more than show it, and I do use my bags, and not for my wife, but for me, lol. It's been my experience that once you get up to speed, the sound behind you is just that, that's why I have all of my speakers in front of me.

I would be interested to hear from passengers on the setup with speakers facing the rear wheel.

I had considered a single 6x9 facing inside, to supplement sound for my wife instead of buying lids.

Can they be heard clearly on the highway by your passenger?

It looks like a clean set up but speakers mounted in saddlebags just takes up too much room for my taste/needs.

The rear 6x9's mounted in the hard bags facing the wheel can be heard by the rider and the passenger at idle or slow speed but not on the freeway. You would need the lids to hear them better.

onthelo,

This is what I did to my bags, I am trying to find the spacers that will go between the speaker and the bag, I sent you a PM. If you can get me 4 of those I am ready to purchase them.

Thanks

I probably could but I would need the 8" driver you where going to use to mock it up for fabrication, sorry but I generally only use 6x9 and someone wants something different I would need it in front of me here to mock it up and fabricate it out of wood and figure out a mounting solution.
