I voted for clean....and it's probably just me, but I need the space in the bags.....all the space I can get since I like to do long rides and carry too much crap. When I bought the Street Glide, I updated the sound system, but find that I use my ear plugs almost all the time wired to the IPOD. Helps with the wind noise too.

Great looking set up......and thanks for posting.

Is it possible or would it do any good to put a rice paper type screen between the grill and the speaker. Something that won't effect the sound but you could pop off the grill and change out or clean the filter.

Nice work however I take it these touring bikes with no bag space are actually jus town hoppers or ride to Hooters **** nite bikes. Not really touring bikes anymore.

That would be a great idea but the grills are formed on the inside of the bag and not easily removable. But it is a thought though..

Yeah most of the bikes I build are show bikes and don't get ridden on super long trips and the ones that do have either tour packs or an extra set of hard bags as these bags are easily removable with two plugs.

So that's what the boxes on the back of this thing is for, who knew.

Looks good, sounds good, feels good, what do you call it? (Benjamin Netanyahu about good)

Very clean install. Like many, just takes up too much bag space for me. If I had to have 4 6x9's I would use the Cycle Sounds lids for the 1st pair, then the forward bag position you show for the 2nd set. This would put the most constricted area (lid and bag bottom) in the front portion of the bag and leave the entire back half of the bag available. Might even be a nice touch to partition the front part of the bags so nothing goes sliding in to the speakers while riding. Not sure if that could hinder the sound quality of the speakers though.

You do good work man.

Zach
