Default Help w/Rhinehart classic dual install on 2012 RKC- where does this bracket go?

any ideas? over the starter? I assume I reuse the stock hardware?
why didnt they give me longer bolts? anyone install this bracket before??

it looks like it may cause interference issues with the ignition lead??

Looks like you got it correct...bracket mounts on starter/top tab to rear & eyelet from pipe/clamp bolts to top. Funy how these vendors who deal with their products daily never test their instructions on riders for quality/clarity. Your guide pretty much looks like most I've seen - cryptic at best...good luck & post some pics when you get them 100%.

yes that bracket supports the back head pipe that bolts to the starter mounts.. I see your bracket has a slot in it mine had a hole..round.. it caused my head pipe to be to close the the side cover & burnt a spot on the cover..I contacted bub about this... I told them I had to make a slot or ovel in the bracket to allow enough clearance... I see someone changed it..

your going to notice the plug wires on the coil come real close to your pipes.. thay may not burn but I installed a set of these to my wires for protection..i got them in black...

I just did this last week. Great pipes but the instructions SUCK. Anyway, that bracket goes on the starter. The bolts are plenty long enough. Have fun. It was a PITA...

Another option for the plug wires are heat boots...we use them in race cars...Amazon sells them for $32 (set of 8). That's what I did & they work great.
