I've been considering getting the basket weave Crotch Cooler from Capt Itch to go on my RKC. For those that have bought any crotch cooler type items, do they work and are they worth the money?

they will help with radiated heat.

thick loose fitting jeans are better than thin tight jeans.

chaps offer good protection as well

These probably don't work too well either.

Captain Itch Crotch coolers do work and work very well. My wife and I both use them on our bikes during the summer month's. We also have stock header pipe's with cat still in.

I can say yes they do make a difference. Had them on the '08 Road Glide.

They look nice, too. Worth the money??? yes.

I have Capt Itch coolers on my 05 Ultra. They do make a BIG difference sitting at a light in traffic and 100 degrees out.

Cpt. Itch Crotch Cooler works and it is worth the money. I was skeptical at first but it really works. I have a '10 RKC with the cat converter so it has more heat. I must say "Hell yes it works"
