Silly question. I went to the dealer to pick up a service manual for my 2012 SG. Guy swears up and down that there is no difference between '11 and '12. Bunch of lip about not getting the '12 for a long time and they're just now getting them, blah, blah, blah. Made me a smokin' deal on a 2011 manual.
I'm going to guess that there's very little if any difference. However, they wouldn't publish a manual specific to each year if they didn't have some specific updates for that model year. And, I'm sure the updates may be minor, but I'm sure they're there.
I wouldn't even begin to speculate what the differences are and even though they're probaly minor, if any at all, I'd want the manual specific to my model year.
I made the mistake of asking for one from my stealer just after I bought the bike and was told they were on back order and thy had no idea when they would arrive. Wondering who they want to do the service, me or them?
