Too lazy to flop open service manual. Bike was serviced and found this hose under seat. One end is routed down right side, other laying there with plastic elbow on end. Too long to be battery drain, not fuel cap line. It's about the size of a vacumn line. Any ideas?

 

Vent I think.

 

Hate that ****! Got mine home from service one day and found socket wrench under my saddle.

yeah, looks like the piece that is supposed to be ran up under the dash and vent/drain gas overfill.

 

Over fill drain tube, runs under the right side of the console and hooks to a nipple by the fuel cap opening.

 

There are supposed to be two hoses coming down the tank console.
One is for the tank vent.
The other is for over fill drain.

 

Thanks, threw me off because the larger tube is still attached by spout, guess this is as stated the overfill. I'm an old school dumbass. All this modern technology has me and my pipes baffled.
