Default MCC rework

I had my Ultra seat reworked originally about three years
ago by Mean City Cycles and have been absolutely pleased
from day one with what they did. I had double memory foam
installed front and rear, deluxe seat heaters front and rear,
and gray ostrich installed in the center panels.
I just got it back today from having the cover replaced as
I had some seams tearing (bad HD design) they replaced
the entire cover and changed my center panels from the
gray ostrich to gray gator and IT IS BADA** to me.
Allen and his staff are #1 in my book and highly recommended
whenever I get comments on my seat and why I can ride
long periods of time and not be hurting like my ride mates.
pic with ostrich and pic with gator

Great looking seat. Any reason you went from ostrich to gator?

when I sent it back to be recovered they were out of gray ostrich
and I didnt want to wait to order it in, so I changed to another
hide they had in stock at the time. Nothing against the ostrich.

Nice.
When you had it done originally, did you have them move it around much?
I'm sending mine in next week and they are lowering me 1 1/2" and moving me forward the same.
Just wondering how that's gonna work out.

originally I had them leave the height the same just move me
back as far as possible, which if I remember right was about a
inch and a half. I am 5'7" and am able to flat foot it and was
looking for a bit of stretch out room, pleased here about it.

No I don't mind. I put a $25 deposit when I made
the appointment, and the total charge including shipping
back to me was an additional $115
$140 total, may be up or down compared
to other place but I am totally satisfied with MCC

Not too bad of a price for a good looking cover. My SE is leather and does show a bit of wear and wonder what it is going to cost me down the road to get a good cover job. Thanks
