It depends on the small print like was mentioned earlier. Also, do you put a ton of miles on yearly? I go through a tire or two a year. I would pick the tires for sure. If not then the extended service plan.

How much do you ride and how long do you plan on keeping the bike?

Answer: I have an 09 Yamaha that has 8500 miles on it. If it is not raining/snowing or wind blowing 50mph, the bike is my main mode of transportation. I am figuring about the same if not more with the EG. We are planning on longer rides and more of them.

Do you have the desire and/or ability to fix things when they break?

Answer: Not in the mood for tearing apart and engine but can handle routine maintenance. If it is covered by warranty, back to the dealer it goes. I know my limits and will not exceed them.

Tires for life also probably means they pick the tires for you as well. And "for life" is never "for life" either....they can cancel.

Ask for $500 in extras for accessories, gear, etc, that will go a lot further...

I have yet to go to the dealer and find out the exact details of the three options. Once I do and make my decision, I will try to remember to come give an update. It might take me awhile as I hope to be spending more time in the saddle on my new HD.

I agree, if you do lots of riding, that's a terrific value, free tires for life, like that idea.
as long as your going to keep the bike that is.

There is too many questions left. I know that Tire and Wheel protection is only for when a tire or wheel is damaged (nail, curb, pot hole, etc.,.) outside of normal wear. Under normal wear, you are still responsible for paying for replacements.

Now, on the tires for life, does that include if damaged prematurely by a nail, curb, pot hole, etc.,.??? And if damaged prematurely, do you have to pay for the replacement??

And is labor included in either plan??

Yeah, I don't see how there is anything to think about here. Tires ain't cheap. Hidden charges are important and if you plan to change wheel size it'll probably void that. How long you plan to own the bike plays in too. Me, I don't think I'll ever sell mine but I'll probably end up with different wheels at some point.
