Default V&H Big Shot Duals Quiet Baffles, Standard Baffles Comparison, Video

I put together a quick video to compare vance and hines quiet and standard baffles with the big shot duals some may or may not find it helpful if they are searching. I am maybe a month away from changing the exhaust to S&S cycle header with mufflers. Any way here is a the video for those interested.

Didn't sound tinny to me but, he rolled on the brothel with the quiet baffle but never with the standard baffles, so it's tough to compare except at idle. I would think the bigger difference, if any would be when you are on the throttle.

They sound tinny to me to. I did not roll throttle with standard baffle. Video was a after thought after I changed to the quiet baffle. I am changing to S&S cycle header and S&S mufflers will post a short video of them in about a month.

I did not take it as a put down at all. Its a sound i describe as a metalic blat, blat, blat sound. They are ok around town but long trips they wear me out. The video is a effort to contribute for others that in the future will search. The is not great on the cheap camera but i think for the most part many will get the idea. Thanks for the conversation its cool.

I have standard baffles in my bigshot dresser duals, and it's loud, but lets the neighbors know I'm home and safe again.

Video is poor comparison between the two baffles. The bike is going to sound louder in the garage, and different at opening of garage. There were video segments of the quiet baffles in and out of garage, but the only ones of the standard baffles were beside the bike in the garage, not from behind. Can you do a video with both from behind the bike? That would be accurate. I do long runs on the HWY, and love to hear my pipes on the Interstate, that's why I have an amp & over-sized speakers in the fairing.

Poor video and sound yup thats the truth. I did not set out to be a professional baffle com-parer. LOL However to me the video does show the tinny characteristic that I hear and as noted above at least one other thought same thing. Long highway run is one thing but 2 weeks on road they bug me I do have amp etc. to. I have since bought a gopro and if I get a chance I may make a video riding with these pipes "maybe"

This entire video is of the STANDARD baffle.

Trying to do a video after I put on my Jackpots I found the video filters to work against getting a true naked ear representation of the sound. It toned down the higher db's. The sound was actually louder in my case. In the video you cant even tell there are quiet baffles on that set, with a def Brapp sound to the tone....sound from exhaust are subjective . What do you think of the sound, is that what your were after?
