PYO 10' monkey bagger bar install, wiring!!

I am having a terrible time trying to get the tbw and control wire thru the right hand side. I can get it 3/4 of the way but than the tbw seems to get stuck. I have been working on the right hand side wires for 16 hrs and still no luck...Tried all different ways (together, separate, etc) using silicone spray, wire lube, etc...Does anybody know how to do this? It seems like there is not enough room for the tbw sensor. I have both the tbw wires and the control wires in very tight shrink wrap. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

You will probably have to remove or cut (if not removable) the connector off. I believe it is a two wire connector. You can solder (and insulate well) some longer wires and run them through so that the new wire ends pull completely through. You can always re-connect the removed connector or solder the connector to the wires.
You will also need to pull them through while you feed on the other side. You can use an extra wire for that. Make sure you use lubrication.
I managed to pull the wires with the connector through the Harley Reach bars but they did not have too sharp of bends. It was not fun...
Good luck.

After prepping the wires with the heat shrink it should only take 5 minutes or so to pull the wire through the bars.
I heat shrinked the end wires in 3 sets, then heat shrink over the 3 set with plenty on the end to fold back on it's self 3 times. I used a vaccum to pull rope through the bars. Put a small hole in the 3 folds in the heat shrink, put plenty of Dawn soap on the wires and used a back and forth motion while pulling. Had the wires through in under 5 minutes.

If you are doing the PYO MMBs for the SG you should be happy. Those of us who have done it with the Road Glide OEM version have double the trouble with two sets of sharp bends.
Never the less what I did to make the job go quickly (1.5 hrs) were tricks I learned by reading all the PYO MMB threads.
1. Eliminate the TBW connector. (HUGE!)
2. Cut the wires (Pulling the pins through can be done, but are usually damaged in some way and often won't make the turn in the bends)
3. Cut off the stock black outer cover.
4. Use a small chain to get through the bar...then connect a weed eater line and pull it through. Use this to connect the wires to be pulled. Stagger the wires as you connect them to the weed wacking line so it looks like a spear tip. Run 2 lines on the right side to do two pulls. It is easier to have the line already there for pull number two.
5. Heat shrink or wrap electrical tape at the areas were the wire will rest in the sharp bends to protect them from rubbing on the sharp bends over time. Only wrapping or shrinking there allows the rest of the wire to be very small and flexible for the pull. Do a pull and push technique.
6. Lube if you wish. I was able to do clean smooth pulls on all sets of wires without lube doing this. BTW I pulled the wires out and did it again when I thought I screwed up and the wires were all good without damage.
7. Reattach all the spliced wires. Be very careful of the gray and gay/white wires...guess how I know this.
This weekend I get to do a set for my wife's SG. Should be a snap without the two sets of sharp angles and no TBW.
Good luck.

Lots of good advice here. Here's my story.
Did the left side first and thought, man, this isn't so bad what are all those guys complaining about! Then I started the right side. Initially tried several ways of pulling wires through until I destroyed the green plug by ripping it apart inside the bars. This took about 20 mins of intense effort and profanity. My wife who was helping me left the area at that point. Fortunately she didn't leave me permanently. I then cut and soldered the TBW wires and began push - pulling again and in about 10 mins I had everything through. If I had not been fortunate enough to break that plug I might still be pulling today and probably divorced. I'll share a big mistake I think I made but it worked out OK after breaking the plug. I heat shrinked the entire length of wires tightly (switches and TBW in separate packages) to make as small of package as possible. This reduced the flexibility of the wiring and its ability to conform to the space (bad thing). If I had it to do again I would either not cover the wires or only sheath them loosely for protection. I also used the weed eater string as a pull string and conduit lube. If I ever get a RG I'll go with Carlinni's, no two right angles for me! Good luck!

Pulling wires sucks, plain and simple. Ive already said it but I will say it again. Whats yall's time and sanity worth?? Not to mention going and buying the shrinkwrap, conduit lube, weedeater string, etc, etc and the gas it took to go do this. Then come home and cuss and **** your ole lady off and get cutoff for a few days.....??? Hell NO.
I called my local indy and had them done in an hour and a half for a bill. In the meanwhile I was across the street eating a bacon cheeseburger and then to the gun shop to handle some nice 1911 45's. I told him that very day I will never pull a wire again for that price.
