Installing Heritage style bars, can I reuse grips?

If there factory grips your best bet is to get new ones. Most people end up cutting the left grip off because its glued to the bar & is very hard to remove without damage.

Use compressed air under the left grip and twist it a little. It'll come off in less than 10 seconds.

When you reinstall it on the new bars spray a little womans hair spray in it ans slide it on. It'll dry and be on there good after that.

It's a 2011. The left grip will come right off, just twist it a little. Those are non-adhesive grips so don't use any when you put it back on either. There is a notch in the switch housing which holds them on & prevents rotation-much easier to work with than the old glue type.

You sure about that, mine started spinning on me right from the dealership. Ended up going with an upgrade and that one didn't need any adhesive. It feels like it wants to spin sometimes but I figured it might need some goop in the future.

The left grip on my 11 street glide was glued on too.I was upgrading to the new "Get-a-grip" HD grips, so a sharp box cutter took it right off.
