I like the football cover. I changed mine to a black football cover with a 103 ring.

I like the football cover too. I put a black SE trim ring on mine.

I think that the throttle body plug is preferable to seeing than is the covers that some of you guys are putting on over the throttle bodie's which are even more obtrusive.

If you are gong to put on something other than stock at least put something cool on..
like maybe this one.

screamin' eagle backplate and filter with a smooth chrome cover. I've looked all over for a decent solution to the "Plug issue", nothing really works for me as far as style. Kuryakin's comes closest.

BTW does anybody know a good place for chrome breather bolts?

I run an open filter and have been caught in monsoon-like downpours (a couple of hundred miles worth) on several occasions with no ill effects at all. I did wind up buying a rain sock for it (for the peace of mind) but didn't notice any difference.

I run the rain sock year round and it don't hurt nothin' other than keepin' your filter a lot cleaner.
