Hmm. Glad I made a few laugh. Maybe I am missing something but the LARGE, chrome engine component on the left side of the bike, behind the heel shifter, where the LARGE derby is si where it's heating up. And no, I am not sitting on the bike backwards. Sssh......tough crowd today.

That would be your primary. And yes it does heat up... but the right side should be hotter. Have you tried taking off your lowers? Or.... yes stupid question time.... do you have the vents open?

Yes, lowers open. Just seems hotter than my RK. Right side is certainly hotter given the cat.

The lowers do pull in air (the hot stuff) from the engine. You can pull them off in hotter weather for LOTS of air flow. I've heard that floorboard extenders allow a little more air to come up from below, but haven't tried that yet. But I do have them in mind for a wider foot position.

Some people take the doors off of their lowers, and say that improves airflow. Haven't tried that either.

I just stick my feet on the highway pegs, if my legs get hot. I'm easy. Besides, it's like an easy chair with my feet up.

I need to get a set of highway pegs, that will help. I am short so I need to figure out a set that will reach back and be comfy.
