I couldn't see the fairing mounted mirrors, my hands were in the way. I opted for mirrors mounted on the bars.

Mine are pushed up enough that the fairing mount mirrors are effective. If I wanted or needed any more pull back, I definitely would have needed to switch out the mirrors.
