Default Vivid Black painted inner fairing. Too much black?

Bought a new take off inner fairing, had it painted Vivid Black. My Limited is Vivid Black. Now that I am ready to put it on, I am thinking it is too much. Anybody run into this?

I have a vivid black street glide and had mine painted harley's fire red pearl, I think it looks good but I know not everyone agrees with me. Sets it apart from the billions of other vivid black baggers though. Any color goes with black.

Fatboy Brian's looks pretty good.

If you don't want it, I could always ride down there, and we could swap.
I'd take it, and gladly give you mine!

Looks good Brian. Maybe I will go ahead and put it on, now that I have seen a picture of another one. Thanks.

Since the stock color is black plastic, just not vivid black and glossy vs. flat

Can you help me answer this question

If they're already black, how is painted black too much black?

Do it. I thought the same thing you did. I bought a used one on ebay and painted it. You will be glad you did.

I was thinking about doing the same thing for my RGC. What did you pay to have it done?

There is no such thing as too much black.
