I'm looking to do H.I.D. on my '03 E-glide.

I'm confused by your reply, you say HID "bulbs". Where did you mount the ballasts? If there are no ballasts they aren't H.I.D. (High Intensity Discharge lamps).

With the low prices of led why bother with hid? trucklite led is like 250

They have a set for Harley for $125 with two year warranty. Have a ballast and all. Plug and play. I dont have them but thinking about getting one. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I bought the Harley HID kit prior to the LED systems. It is awesome but it requires a ballast. The high beam is a regular bulb, just H8 instead of H4, meaning it is a H4 without low beam.

Sorry not exactly what the OP was after, just sharing info for those who may not know.

I'm considering another HiD for the high beam. Or at least a higher end PIAA bulb.
