Wondering if anyone has installed Progressive Monotubes (31-2500) in an older Road King. I have a 2002 Road King Classic and would like to upgrade the front suspension. I have heard that the internals of the forks on the older Road Kings are different so any guidance/suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

No one has installed a set of Monotubes in an older Road King?

 

I installed a set on my 02 FLHT and it was straight forward. The front end does not dive from braking and feels a lot more stable.

From what I've read the mono tubes replace everything in your stock forks so it doesn't matter about the single valve in the legs of the early bikes, going do it on my 05 road glide one of these days as money allows
