Ok guys, i know you are probably tired of these threads. I have read pretty much every thread on here about fuel tuners, but i don't think i have found any info on a setup close to what i have. I have an '06 road king custom. I put the B&E performance true dual kit, and superflow muffers with 2" baffles. I have not changed the air filter yet, and probably won't until later this season. Do i need to get a PC3, or will i be ok? I was thinking about having the dealer do a download on the ECM, but not sure about it. I wasn't all that impressed with the way my Dad's softail ran with one. But the price is appealing. I looked at the map list that Dyno Jet has on their website, and not sure if any of them will match up well. Flame on if you feel the need, but i would really appreciate some advise. Thanks

Buy a PC III or PC-V, take it to a Dyno-er who works with either tuner and let them tune it and call it a day.

Try not to get caught up so much with the exact manufacturer/model of your exhaust, look for maps that have like or similar type of exhaust, true duals, and muffler baffle size. The canned maps are a good start point to tune from. Even if you find a map with all the exact same components that you have, it still wont be a perfect tune, but it might be good enough, depending on your personal tuning philosophy on what's acceptable.

I doubt you need do anything as you are still using the stock restrictive air cleaner.

when you plan to change that, then is the time to get a tuner

get the pc111 from fuel moto,he should have maps that will work fine,if your not happy with his maps he can talk u through changes or u then get it on the dyno, why not try the canned mao b4 dropping the cash on a dyno, for a simple stg 1 95% of the time a canned map will be the ticket.
