Default Black Widow Slip On's ANYONE??

I have a 2010 FLHTCU with stock head pipes and after market pipes. I am looking to black out my pipes and exhaust because my bike is the Black/Silver Ultra. I have deceided to go with the Vance and Hines Dresser Duals for pipes but am torn on the exhaust. I have heard the Monster Ovals but I am wanting something louder and deep. I dont want to annoy the neighbors BUT I do want to be heard if I choose so. Really like the look of the widows but they don't seem real popular. I havent found many reviews or sound bites of them but what I have read everyone really liked them. Let me know what you all think!

I am also up for other options too. I have looked at the black Rush exhaust and also the Black Freedom Performance exhaust.

I don't know much about the Black Widow....it for some reason doesn't seem to get a lot of press on this forum. I used to own Twin Slash Ovals, sounded damn near perfect to me. They really barked when you twisted the wick. I've been told the 4" Blackout Rounds by V&H have the same baffle in it so I would assume similar sound. Maybe try looking at those?

What made ya switch out for the Rinehart's? Which one do you feel is a deeper rumble and louder over all?

I know there isn't hardly ANYTHING out there on the Black Widows? A few reviews I have found are good but just makes me wander why everyone else aren't using them? When I have google'd them I get a ton of 1200's that they are on and a bunch of nightrods but not many touring's at all.

I had them on my 103" and loved them. When I did my engine work and larger bore to 117" I needed a muffler that would flow more volume. So I changed to V&H Monster Ovals. My black widows are still here in the garage.

If you decided to get them and want to powder coat the chrome tips heres a pic to let you know how they look

Thanks for the pictures Trike. I don't plan on doing any motor work besides just the basic Stage 1. Do you think they will work well with the Vance and Hines dresser duals with an aftermarket a/c? How loud were they on a 1 to 10 rating you think? Sorry for all the questions but I need all opinoins!

They sounded good, the one problem is the leak and blue around the chrome tips. I replaced the tips once under warranty and they did the same thing again.

I have true duals and was very pleased with how they did. I can say on my scale which may differ from yours on loudness, I would give them a 6-7.Very nice rumble @ throttle with more bark the more you open the throttle. They are a hollow core design which gives more bark when your rolling on the throttle. I would advise you to use a 2into1 2 such as the Fulsac Xpipe or Fuelmoto's Xpipe. They allow you to reuse your stock heat shields.

The reason I dont worry about having that type of X pipe headpipe system and use a true dual system is due to having 117" with tons of torque. With your stock engines & stock cams you would lose a few lbs of torque in the lower rpm range which is why I think you be better off with the x pipe design
