Heading back to NJ from Sturgis 2012. Decided to take the long way back, via the Western route.
Chief Joseph Highway, Wyoming. Heading north to Beartooth pass.

A couple of hitch hikers in Yellowstone. These few stragglers were actually running to catch up with the rest of the herd that just went by. I was close enough to hear the heavy breathing of the bison as they ran by. I've been to Custer State Park many times but the shear number of bison in Yellowstone make Custer look like a small playground.

I've got to say, I have lived on four continents in my life so far and America has some of the most beautiful, diverse, and scenic landscapes I have ever scene. Very blessed to be able to ride in such beauty. From sea to shining sea.
