They are zero loss aluminum valves. There are probably cheaper ones but as always, you get what you pay for.

I don't see the problem. He paid to get screwed and that's exactly what happened.
90* valve stems, I need someone to make a set that will screw on the the tire air valve, or compression fit over the valve stem threads. I have spoked rims use inner tube.

The easiest and safest thing for you to do is on the next tire change get you a tube with the 90 deg valve stem. I ran them on my old Honda Shadow Aero for 10 years or so before buying my Limited. They work great and makes things much easier. Adding an extension to the existing sounds like a bad idea to me. For that extension to work you have to remove the inner valve part of the stem. That valve part is now in the 90 deg extension. If that extension fails then it is a quick and complete deflation!
Anybody ever change over to angled valve stems like these, or other ones? The straight stems are such a PITA to get to for checking or airing up. If you've got better ones, post 'em up.
