Thank you all. I do have many options. I have a pile of HD Parts catalogs to look in I did not think of that.

MKG. Your experiance more disks more sound, less disks less sound level?

yes, exactly.

you can read up at the supertrapp website and they have forums with tech moderators who are helpful.

I have/ had a bunch of Harleys running supertrapps, and the nightstick is very similar to the supermeg- similar enough that I used nightsticks on my 09. set up the disc stacks and end caps to my liking in a few minutes.

I set mine up for performance, the sound level is moderate, a following rider knows if I am accelerating, slowing or cruising without having to stare at my brake light.
traffic knows i am there ( unless they are on the phone).

If I want louder- I have snuff r nots, which are solid end caps with ports which open with an allen key
