Default Need a New Tour Pak

A brand new Tour Pak for less than $300.00. I just found these guys and I am wondering if it is too good to be true. Has anybody dealt with these folks before?

Let's see, their name is Mutaza, they have a Harley logo but aren't listed on the HD dealer page, their product is very inexpensive overall, the difference for painted is $34, I would say you're taking a chance on getting what you pay for, but hey, we're rooting for you and if you take a chance, let us know how it works out.

I got the smaller tour pack for my dyna from these guys. I've had it for about five years. It's held up very well and was a great value. The color still looks good. No complaints about the company.

Didn't say anything bad about them, you asked for some opinions and those thoughts should go through your head anytime you buy anything for a price that seems too good to be true. Hell, it might be made by the same manufacturer as HD, we've all seen that a hundred times. Buy a Gates belt from V-Twin at about 60% of the HD cost, it comes in the HD packaging. But then again, even it was the same manufacturer, the formulation of material could be different to cut cost, the wall thickness could be thinner, also to cut cost and it could rattle off the mounting in a year. Who knows, it's hard to tell, but you've got one positive remark so far, that is a good sign and it might be a great deal. We'll be waiting to hear, because if it is, lots of guys will flock to it. I'm still out on the paint, though, I would recommend painting yourself, I find it hard to believe there is a $34 quality paint job, but then again, who knows?

And you can get any color you want, as long as it's Vivid Black.

Mutazu was popular with my fellow riders when I was on a Kawasaki Vulcan. They have a huge catalog of stuff and seem to be well-worth the money. Make sure you consider the cost of the hardware, backrest, locks, hinges, etc since I think that price is only the tourpak.

Default Harley Tourpacks

I bought the HD chopped pack for my bike, looks nice but after all the parts it came to $1,000.

Looking back on it now, I might have saved $500 going with theirs.
I'd take a chance on it..

There are literally dozens of favorable threads on the Mutazu tour pak--mine has been a great value for 5+ years on an HD solo detachable rack.
