I'm planning a ride to Sturgis via Chicago. A mandatory stop in the Chicago H-D dealer on Western Ave.. That dealer has Chicago on the back of the t-shirts.
I just joined the H.O.G. club at that dealer. Hope it doesn't close.

It looks like that is the one that closed. The location is no longer in their locations list on their website.
Not sure if anyone picked them up. It's entirely possible though. Really small dealership for a corporate store.
I had heard that Woodstock / McHenery had bought them but when I asked the guy from Woodstock at the Chicago Motorcycle Show about it he laughed alot........... I think it was the funniest thing he heard all day.....
Time will tell...
I hope they are able to keep the museum going that Pierce's had....... There are some great bikes in that collection.....
I liked going there just to see them........ Just like I like to go to the Iron Horse Social Club in Savanna, IL to see the bikes they have there.... Always notice something new (old) each time I see them.

you can order your t shirts online or hit the chicago HD dealer in glenview. or the michigan ave loc. which is just a botique. ..both have chicago on the back.
doubt if anyone bought the location since the name or business wasn't for sale. sucks no more lil dealers around.
Curious, since I live in the Atlanta North Metro area where we have at least a couple of strong HD stores, and Atlanta is a much smaller market than Chicagoland, but did you guys suport the closing store(s)???
Carl, it was basically all demographical, once chicago hd opened there big large store in glenview more people travelled the extra distance for a bigger selection of bikes and parts. they barely even had any bikes at the wetern store in the last few years. now there is still CHICAGO HD just not in chicago no mo.
