RE: Whats the best 6 speed out there?
That $1900 seems like a hellva deal and would love to get it but try this:
http://www.bagger-parts.com/Bakersixspeedpage.html
$2295 shipped
the SE from the discounters is $1600 + $160 for trap door + shipping and the case has to be ground. I think everything is included in the Baker kit and dont believe it requires case mods.
I am lookingat the same thing and the Baker is leading if I can get for some what close in price and not have to grind the case.

Someone help me justify the change. I love my EG C but I've rented a 6 speed while mine was being improved at the shop and could'nt see the differance other than having to count to 6 rather..... than 5......I'm not a big motorhead but I like doing good upgrades, but just don't see the reason,....would someone straighten me out.

RE: Whats the best 6 speed out there?
When I bought my SG earlier this year I was comming from a 6-speed chopper and didn't really think the 5-speed would be a big deal. Now that I've ridden this fantastic piece of machinery for a awhile I've concluded that I may be wrong. Been on several trips with it and I can tell you since I did the motor work (actually even before that) I love ridding at 80 or better on the slab. While I don't think it will ultimately hurt anything running at 3300 or 3400 RPM's for extended time's I'm more comfortable getting it closer to 3000 at those speeds. My.02
