One of the best upgrades to my bike I have done. Clean, crisp, great customer service.
Ok, I'm goin' for it too...how difficult is it to put these in yourself? I am mechanically challenged but can install slip-on's and change the windshield...just small stuff.

Ride safe,

I had tnem in my bike that got totalled and they rocked! My 05 Classic with stock stereo and speakers really sucks. Just sent Pez payment for the Ultrasound kit w/ 4 speakers. Should give my buds with Ultra's a run for their money.

Is the amp available for the HK radio or is only for the ultrasound and older models?

So Pez offers HDForum members a discount $175 for 4 and $17 shipping? Their site doesn't seem to be working properly.

Ride safe,
If you can take the outer fairing off and put it back on then you can do this.It takes maybe 45 minutes even with the amp. It's one of the easiest installs you'll ever do.

I'll have to wait until my bonus hits after the Dec 31st paycheck, but I'll definitely be ordering the HogTunes speakers. If the software upgrade improved my stock sound, I can only imagine how a properly setup pair of speakers will help.

Ride safe,
It's like 7 Torx 27 screws to get the fairing off, 3 for the windshield and 4 on the inside, put a towel on your front fender in case you drop something. I had to loosen and lower the passing lamps / turnsignals out of the way to give my big hands room to pull the connector on the headlight. There are more detailed instructions in the DIY section of the forum.

After that it's just four Phillips screws on each speaker.
