Hello to all, I have a 09 SE Roadglide, I accidently bought this 08 Corbin DT seat, My question is even tho it seams to fit nice and tight, is it actually fitting my bike properly? is there any possible problem i need to beware of? Should i keep the 08 or pay the difference and get a 09-12 Seat? Thanks

 

Harley changed the seat mounting system on their touring bikes in '08. Your seat should be fine.

 

Are you sure it's actually sitting on the frame correctly. 2009 is when MOCO made the big change in the frame design of the Touring bikes, making them wider.

Just you seat pan and make sure it's really sitting on the upper frame tubes.

 

I did look at the rubber pads under the seat pan and it seems to be in line with the frame. I went to the Corbin website and they list the 08 seats seperate from the 09-12 seperaetly. I will call them today. Thanks all!

 

The 08 seat pan is different than the 09-12 dt, i called the dealer and they ordered the 09-12 Corbin DT!! They said they would swap it out for no extra charge. Gotta Love those Harleys.
