Nope. For over 10 years now, all my bikes would be kept out back under the rear deck up against the house. I do store them for winter though.... spray chrome & aluminum with WD40, fill tank with stabil, fog cylinders, remove battery, bike jack, cover, etc. No problems at all. Truth is, its a Harley... they are pretty tough. A nice detail and fluid change in Spring and you are good to go! If you have the luxury of a garage... then by all means use it.

My bike is in a garage with no heat. Have not had any problems. However, I get it out and ride a least once every month in the winter. I live in Virginia so most of the time the weather is good enough to take some short rides.

If you have a gas water heater in your garage it will suck the moisture out.

Mines in a unheated garage on a battery tender with an H-D cover on it. The tank is filled to the very top and I put a little fuel stabelizer in there too.

Haven't had any problems to speak of.

Try one of those RV or boat heaters, there 90 watts and have a fan built into them. It works real well keeping the bike dry and doesn't cost a fortune to run.

Mine's in an unheated garage, plugged into a battery tender. I start it once a week and let it run for awhile. Haven't had any problems.
You are better off letting it sit until you ride it the next time than to start it every week and let it run for a while. All you are doing is fouling your oil. If it is gonna be sitting idle for more than a month or so fog the engine with some fogging oil.

Thanks for all of the great replies, a lot of good ideas. I'll try some type of low cost heater solution, until I can build a larger shop for myself. Thanks again.
