Thanks for all of the input. I like the increased oil capacity but now have to agree that the price vs. benefit is way too high. A couple of hundred bucks for the oil pan would be tops for me, and that's not going to happen, no matter how good the sale price.

I would think if you run a lot of highway miles in the desert maybe, but I don't see $600+

I'd spend that cash on a good cooler...the Jagg ten-row. Just sayin.

Someday, after some other mods are done I would look at getting one.... they (Baker) are sure as hell proud of them. It is a well made piece though.

Sorry my response offends your judgement, just my opinion.

Coach1...it has nothing to do with your opinion and everything to do with the way in which your opinion was expressed! It simply rubbed me the wrong way!

But no worries...all is good! None of us know how this Baker will work out at this point...but I'll know soon enough!

Ride safe...

Contraire!
Someone does know how it works. Been there...done that. Wasted money. Buy an oil cooler and call it a day.

I have one and an oil cooler. Can't really say if the pan helps that much or if it's the oil cooler. I do like the thought of an extra quart of oil in an air cooled engine. that extra quart has to help, lot more volume of oil being cooled and circulated.

That being said I found mine on eBay, brand new in the box with everything for $300.00. Baker will also negotiate prices if you call them direct. I bought an F6F kit from them for my 07 RKC for half price last year.

Baker stuff is bulletproof and I love my oil pan and F6F kit. I can't wait for their primary cover to be ready to ship.
