Well I did it! Purchased my first ever brand new Harley yesterday and my first new bike since 1986. She's a standard Road King in vivid black with cruise. I had about $1,800 worth of accessories added which are the beach bars, passenger grab rail, 4pt docking kit, sissy bar w/pad, air way detachable 2 up rack with light kit, Screaming Eagle touring mufflers with fish tail endcaps and the visor style trim kit for the headlamp, passing lamp and turn signals front and back. I got the whole thing for $18,600 including labor, tax, title, etc which I thought was a good price. Did I do good or could I have gotten them lower? Regardless it's now water under the bridge and I'm very excited. My only bike for the last 20 years has been a 1973 Triumph Bonneville 750 which while very fun and cool is full of gremlins and I always worry when I take her on long rides. Finally I think I can relax.

Congrats, I love my 11 roadking, especially the cruise control, wife enjoys as much as I do. I think you did great on the price compared to what I paid for close to the same bike w/o your extras. ENJOY

They don't have the bike yet but should by the end of the month and then I'll post pics of course! Now I have to change out the 17" wheel for a 16" and get wide white walls!!
