Default Woods 777 cams & FuelPak

I currently have had a FP for 3 - 4 years and it works fine with stage 1. I'm planning on upgrading to 777 cams (from FuelMoto) on my 07 96 RG. V&H sent me a map for the FP and 777's ( I wanted to make sure they supported the cams).. Does anyone have these cams AND an FP ?? Any issues??? Thanks

I was getting 91 hp out of my 555's with a pc5, d&d fat cat, and rsd intake. You will not regret it. They can pull stumps out.

The 5-6 would work even better than the 555 IMO.

Regardless of what cams you go with you will be leaving a lot of performance behind using the Fuel Pak as your tuner for a cam upgrade. The FP is a fueler only, no ability to change tining of independant cyl adjustment

Get a Flash tuner PV,SEPST, TTS or at least a PCV

I agree with the last two posts whole heartedly but lots of people think that Wood cams are the answer to everything. The only reason I can think of as to why people think that is because of too much time on the interweb. Wood designs great cam profiles but as someone else stated, they like more compression than a stock engine offers. Also, can't see why a person would spend the money on expensive cams and then run a cheap or maybe the word is limited, tuner. It reminds me of people that live in a shack, buy an old chevy caprice and put $3000 set of rims on it but to each their own.

Thanks for the replies. My original post asked about FP owners and cam upgrades. If the FP works fine, then why change it ?? If it doesn't, then, yes, I will make the jump. The FP has been working great since I got it..no complaints. I can spend the $500 or so on something else.
