Default Dual bulb halogen kit (PN 67700032) and visor - gap

Anyone have this setup? (Visor PN 69733-05)

While my bike was in the shop for apes, I had them slap on this kit. (It already had a visor, so that was re-installed).

There is a large gap at the bottom between the glass of the bulb and the bottom of the visor. (not referring to the gap thats difficult to bring together at the bottom of the visor, thats another story)

Must be 1/2 to 3/4". (sorry, no pic, I'm traveling)

Anyone else?

No gap on mine, but I have the older headlight with a rubber gasket around the headlight ring. The visor fits snug but not touching the lens.

Keith, Do a search on this ... I seem to remember someone asking this same question and getting a fix ( or figuring out where he went wrong )

I have that same setup and don't have a gap. I would take it off and see if the rubber gasket is bound up. Then as you reinstall it wriggle it around as you tighten it to make sure it is in its happy place.

Dealer put on the 2-bulb halogen headlight kit on while it was apart for apes, and I put the visor trim ring on it *before* the ape install, so the ball is in the dealer's camp.

Here's a pic:

So below is a stolen pic from Buckinfitch's recent post, I guess its not materially different on mine. Thanks, Buckinfitch!
