I put a tour pack on my '08 Standard last year. I priced out e-Glide Goodies along with the MoCo. By the time I figured out all the extras needed i.e. paint hardware etc, I decided to go with MoCo. The box comes with the stock hinges, latches and tether cord. The lock (matching key or not), rider backrest, luggage rack, LED rack light were all separate. I had the old style 2 point docking hardware already for my backrest luggage rack and needed to add the 4 point set. If you go with MoCo, order to match your paint. This year I have upgraded to the premium hinges and also added the LED side lights. The newer models ('09 I believe) have a smaller more stream lined docking hardware set up. Hope this helps.

I looked on the Internet for quite some time for a tourpak. I ended up at my local dealer and ordered a king tourpak with backrest, locks keyed the same as my bags and painted to match my bike- included matching pin striping. The whole project, including the 4 point docking was around 1,500. Last season I drilled new holes on my current tourpak base and was able to move the Pak back by at least 2". My wife is very happy! Good luck...and ride safe!

I looked for alternate options too. I found that buying used or an aftermarket tour pak would be cheaper until you add the painter's cost to match my bike. I went with a painted to match from LSHD1.com and found the 20% off with free shipping brought the cost down to reasonable level. I just wish it would hurry up and arrive!

Just bought all of this stuff for my RK (headed to Sturgis this year from CA) and the Dealer recommended this Lid Catch that I would have never discovered otherwise. Just sharing.

Does this one require drilling like the premium hinges? I guess I could look at the bike but I am inside at the computer and being lazy.
By the way you might want to check out the "Ultra Brace" for tour-paks from e-Glide Goodies.
thanks.

$80.00 ? Really?
I think I will get by with the stock tether.

Agree it is pricey but when I had a bag on the luggage rack, either my wife or I had to hold the lid to keep it from possibly cracking the lid by the hinges. With the brace it doesn't go past center and will support the lid with another bag on the rack.

Bought the little alignment deal for the tour-pak latch today. What they don't tell you is save yourself a second trip to the dealer and buy a replacement latch for $10 bucks. The original is screwed on with so much blue loctite, I snapped the screw off and then busted the well trying to drill it and use an easy out. Once installed it does work pretty slick.

First ride of the season for me today. All the winter mods tested out SAT during the shake down cruise.
