Agreed - that's why I kept my 2001 Fatboy (that and I wouldn't have gotten a decent price for it).

Does the gas tank hold enough to get from the gas station back home?

Nice around town bike. heard the gas tank is what-2.33 or 2.5 gallon capacity. Is that a joke? Hell, I'm always on my buddy for the 4.2 gal. capacity on his '82 Honda CB 750 Custom (but that's another topic). 2.whatever gallon capacity fuel tank belongs on a VESPA. Are you reading this HD?

You really think somebody riding an Ultra is gonna get rid of it for one of these things?!! Maybe a 2nd bike to go 20 miles for an ice cream cone, but get rid of an Ultra?!!! I doubt it, and I'm pretty sure you weren't serious!

I think it's a great looking bike. I would look like a monkey riding a football on it. Thought I had the wife talked into getting it for her. She conned me into taking her to look at it, secured the funds, then did an end around on me and had the kitchen updated. So I am still her chauffeur.

I like the looks of it, reminds me of my first HD, an 883 sporty. Would be a fun hooligan bike for around town, but the one I'm really tempted to buy is the Dyna Switchback. That one reminds me of my FXR. Had a lot of fun on that bike, modified for power and handling, surprised a few crotch rocket riders in the canyons with it. Put over 100,000 miles on it, including a couple cross country trips.

Where did anyone say they were going to get rid of their Ultra and replace it with a '72?

What ever you do DO NOT SIT on it!

You will have a inner fight not to add it to your garage "for running around town".

It's not often I see a bike that just pulls at my soul but DAMN the photos do not do that paint any justice, nor the whole feel of the bike it's like looking at my uncle's old sporty. Shame they didn't put a king peanut tank on it though. Wonders if that's on its way?

Still looks like the MoCo hired Paul Sr. from OCC to build it. Just a bunch of left over parts thrown together.
