I got the HD lowers because I liked the look of them on the SG and the protection. The fit is perfect and very easy to install. They helped with buffeting and I removed the chrome fork lowers. I have only had them for a couple of months but I doubt I will take them off in the summer.

did you use adapters or do you order the speaker pods the size you want?
6.5" using the Harley CVO speaker adapters.. There weren't any speakers installed yet in that pic..

Yes they are. They only hit the turn signals after a 3/4 turn to either side. However, I can't turn them enough to lock the handle bars.

Any ideas? I tried adjusting the lower fairings more to inside and outside, but it made little difference.

im just about ready to order my lowers & every time i read something about the turn signals hitting the lowers i second guess ordering them.

same here mine clear........(fairing factory lowers) but my bike is a FLHT none lowered front end......so If you have a street glide with a lowered front end I could see maybe running into problems with them hitting........

Mine (the HD) have zero clearance issues. Plenty of room. Perhaps you need to double check the mounting.

I have the vented lowers and love them. Ready to look for speaker options. On ride to sturgis last year they worked fine not to hot and kept the grasshopers guts off my pants. I tried to attach a couple of pictures they are not great but show the lowers.

My front end has progressive mono tubes and is lowered 2"... No clearance issues at all.
