sublime....what size speakers are you running in the lowers?
did you use adapters or do you order the speaker pods the size you want?

Factory ones are the best.

www.lshd1.com

Got them here and saved 150 bucks off MSRP. just type in the MOCO part #

I wouldn't even DREAM of taking them off. Open the doors when it gets warm...when cold close them up.

Best mod you can do, IMHO.

Didn't do the speakers....left them as storage compartments.

I put the HD lowers on my last two Street Glides "SWEEEEEEEEEET".
They came on my CVO Street Glide with speakers even "SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETER". I can hear my radio now.

When you are ready to let them go, I will give you $100 and pay the shipping....

Dumb question here but I was thinking of buying these for my SG also. How easy of an install are these? I searched everywhere and cannot find any instructions online how they mount up?

it's easy. I few bolts and a clamp on each side is all there is to it. While it's not hard it is a pain in the butt so the detachable hardware is worth the money if your gonna take them on and off.

I found a used set on ebay that the lady said were scratched so no one was bidding on them. Picked them up for $300 and when I got them they had very light scratches and after a little wax and polishing Looked like new. They also had the quick detach kit with the magnetic doors. I havent needed my chaps almost all winter, if you call what we have here in Louisiana winter?

I just got a used set of non vented lowers. I love the look, but does anyone else have the problem of the stock turn signal lights hitting the lower fairing? Other than changing the lights to the Kuryakyn driving lights, is there any other option (other than removing the lower fairings? :P)?
